Ex-England limited-overs skipper Eoin Morgan leads the charts of the best inning percentage as captain, ahead of Asghar Afghan and MS Dhoni.
Morgan is one of the the most successful T20I captain of all time.
India’s MS Dhoni and Afghanistan’s Asghar Afghan held the record previously with 42 wins in T20 internationals overall.

Asghar Afghan (81.7%)
Afghanistan’s Asghar recorded 42 wins in T20I format and is ahead of MS Dhoni’s tally of 41 victories.
Percentage wise he is the best T20I captain ever. In his Captaincy, Afghanistan have won 81.7 % of their matches.
He equalled Dhoni’s record of most wins as captain in men’s T20I history.
MS Dhoni (59.2%)
MS Dhoni debuted in T20 cricket against South Africa in 2006.
In the inaugural T20 World Cup 2007 Dhoni captained India for the first time as a result India ended up winning the tournament.
At the age of 26, MS Dhoni made India 1st T20 World Cup Winners In his captaincy.
MS Dhoni has captained India in 5 more World Cups.
He was an excellent player in T20s for his sensational hitting abilities in death overs.
Dhoni has an outstanding record as captain 41 wins in 70 matches.
Dhoni has made India play semi-finals in the 2014 & 2016 T20 world cup.
MS Dhoni has represented India in 98 matches, in which he has made 1617 runs with an average of 37.60. Though MS Dhoni’s highest score is 56 vs South Africa in a T20 match 2017.
Aaron Finch (55.9%)
Before the 2009 World Cup, Finch was named the captain of the white-ball teams.
Australia fought well under him, as they made it to semi-finals despite not many rating them highly in the tournament.
Two years later, Finch led Australia to another World Cup title, in the T20 format.
He will be the captain in the upcoming Word Cup of 2022 and will try and defend the trophy.
Rohit Sharma (77.7%)
Rohit has captained India in T20 internationals the most number of times so far, as 44 out of the 62 games where he has captained have been T20Is.

Babar Azam (66.0%)
Babar holds the record for winning the most number of T20Is as a Pakistan skipper.
Babar Azam achieved this milestone after a historic win against England in the second T20I played at Karachi’s National Stadium in the recently concluded T20I series.
