Gabriel Jesus appears to be a very wise transfer from Man City, and excellent prospects Marquinhos and Fabio Vieira have also joined. The Gunners appear to be conducting some sensible transfer business in their attempt to get there for the second summer in a row.
In terms of departures, forward Alexandre Lacazette departed the team and went back to Lyon when his contract expired.
Naturally, this calls for a change in shirt numbers, with a few stars receiving promotions before 2022/23. The Arsenal squad for the season 2022-2023 looks stronger.
